Sad Souvenirs
Sad Souvenirs

These days are endless
Each morning starts the same
Picking up my wounded soul
To patch it up again

Sometimes I'm invisible
Sometimes I hide
I've always had a faithful heart
With a restless fool inside

I can't see rainbows anymore
Just sad souvenirs left to show
Forget everything you've ever done
And howl at the moon till it's gone

Memories so hard and dry
They've brought me to my knees
The greatest burden I've ever had
Is knowing what could be

Look through your telescope
And tell me what you see
Someone staring back at you
Ane he looks a lot like me
