In 1979 - 81 popular Australian rock band The Angels, known in USA and Europe as Angel City, toured North America and released records through CBS/Epic. The band had chart success with the singles Marseilles and No Secrets from the albums Face to Face and Darkroom in several US markets. Their lead singer left to pursue a solo career in 2000 and the original band featuring guitarist brothers John and Rick Brewster, drummer Graham "Buzz" Bidstrup and bassist Chris Bailey have reformed as The Original Angels and are performing. The success in Australia of The Angels has sparked a renewed interest in the bands music and when asked to contribute a new recording to Hurricane Healing they did not hesitate as they have many friends and fans in the USA. The devastation and heartache caused to the people of New Orleans is beyond imagination and the band wish the residents of this magical city a speedy recovery and rebuilding.
