6. Enough - This song is about the claws of workaholism, and how they have had a pretty firm grip on my life. I am definitely a person who struggles with sitting still, and constantly has to force herself to rest. I can work myself into such obsessive spirals of productivity that I will give myself a migraine or a flu, and I’m forced to stay in bed. This song is about chasing outcomes and losing sight of yourself. It’s about grappling with the ROI of putting your emotional, physical, and mental health on the line for success. It’s about losing yourself to a sneaky addiction - ambition. It was a joy to sing this song with MILCK, because we both have felt these feelings permeate our careers - and have worked hard to find balance.
