9. Blue House Dreaming (ballad, mostly acoustic folk)
A story of the spirit of an abandoned home which is dreaming of and longs for the connection of being inhabited again by the warmth and life of a family. The spirit remembers the children, especially; their unbridled joy, leaping fences on their way home with their stories and treasures from school. The song is also perhaps a metaphor for all of our lost innocence as we grow beyond our childhoods and Time has its way with us.
