Got to love Buck Owens. The song was written by Orville Couch and Eddie McDuff, but Buck did the original recording. I heard Professor Louie Hurwitz do it this way at a party one night and told him I was gonna steal it. It was pure genius to do it like that and he gave his blessing. The Desert Rose Band did it in during their hit period in the 80s, but they basically did it like Buck as a two beat country song. Great version though!
