Jan Gillies - Fireflies

When my friend Pablo told me about his niece dreaming that some fireflies in a jar were flashing messages to her, we knew this had to become a song, so………. Of course, I had to include some biology. Pablo offered a traditional Mexican melody to my lyrics, and my understanding of insects gave the song it’s message.
