When it comes to straight-ahead bluegrass combined with raw mountain soul, southern gospel roots and contemporary virtuosity and drive, BlueRidge stands tall at the head of the class. Influenced by the sounds of their native North Carolina and Virginia heritage and buoyed by each member’s boundless talent, the band has won a slew of awards and is widely considered one of the super groups of this era. As a follow up to a string of acclaimed releases including their Sugar Hill debut Common Ground and the gospel-tinged 2002 release Come Along With Me, BlueRidge returns with their first true Southern Gospel offering, Gettin’ Ready.
