The day you came into my life, everything was wrong, now everything is right
They placed you in my arms, you held on tight, and we formed a bond
With paws like a bear, and chestnut fur, green eyes so fair
So we called you Arthmael, a Celtic name that means, the prince of bears

The prince of bears, the prince of bears

Destined for so much more, then being left outside, in a storm
They drove you through the night, to make it by, mornings light
From Alabama all alone, and now you’re here, in your new home
Showing courage in your new lair, you’ve became, the prince of bears

The prince of bears, the prince of bears

Let’s go for a walk you and I, there’s not a cloud in the sky
Everyone will marvel as you walk by, what a day to be alive
The Bear Prince has arrived!

I toss a ball out in the grass, you play hard, and then you crash
You’re growing up, too fast, and all I want, is for these days to last
As you grow big and tall, and become tough and strong
It’s your tender heart you share, that truly makes you, a prince of bears

The prince of bears, the prince of bears, the prince of bears, the prince of bears
