Let’s get in the car and go. Be spontaneous, go with the flow
Up North to see the autumn leaves, just say yes, please
We’ll pack a bag and take the dogs, and be in the mountains by the
morning fog It’s the perfect time of year, to return to the Berkshires

Rhonda’s tidying the rooms, and they’ll be ready soon
Unpack your worries and your cares, and breathe in the mountain air
Making memories and stories to tell, at the Briarcliff Motel

These New England towns, spread the love all around
Massachusetts and Vermont, give me all I could ever want
I don’t even mind the snow, when it sparkles and glows
I just really want to go, where I feel most at home

Rhonda’s tidying the rooms, and they’ll be ready soon
Unpack your worries and your cares and breathe in the mountain air
Making memories and stories to tell, at the Briarcliff Motel

If you hear scratching at the door, it’s just best to ignore
There's no reason to be scared, it’s just the local bear

Rhonda’s tidying the rooms, and they’ll be ready soon
Unpack your worries and your cares and breathe in the mountain air
Making memories and stories to tell, at the Briarcliff Motel

Oh, the stories we will tell, about the Briarcliff Motel
