One of the most soulful of vocalists, Curtis Salgado is also the composer of startling, deep songs, and a terrific harmonica player. His music encompasses blues, R&B, roadhouse rock and Americana. His career has spanned over four decades, from co-leading the early Robert Cray Band to teaching the blues to John Belushi, to singing for two years with Roomful Of Blues and touring with Santana, to cutting 11 albums, four for Alligator. A survivor of three bouts with cancer and a heart attack, Curtis puts all he has into every performance.
