Corey Harris & Henry Butler - Why Don’t You Live So God Can Use You?
Traditional

For Corey Harris, the music of the African diaspora is all part of the same fabric. He started his recording career as a traditional acoustic bluesman, but, over the course of his first three Alligator albums, he incorporated a startling mix of New Orleans brass band music, electric blues, Caribbean folk music, hip-hop, reggae and other Black music genres. For his fourth album, he teamed with the late New Orleans jazz and blues pianist/vocalist Henry Butler, performing stripped-down duets, including blending their unaccompanied voices on this ancient spiritual.
