Australia’s hard-rocking slide guitar virtuoso is the only foreign-based artist ever signed by Alligator. His technique (playing over the neck with the slide on his index finger) is almost unheard-of, and his chops and onstage energy are astounding. Other guitarists hold him in awe. We released seven albums by Dave between 1992 and 2003, and he toured the U.S. as often as possible, delivering blazing performances. In 1997, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by recording in Chicago with some of the city’s top bluesmen.
