Bob Margolin is one of the most respected and honored artists in the blues, and a champion of the genre. A guitarist, bassist, songwriter and singer, he’s immersed himself in the blues tradition and created original songs that range in style from Delta blues to traditional Chicago style to swing and jump to proto-rock ‘n’ roll. He spent seven years as a member of Muddy Waters’ band, learning from the master himself. Since 1980, he’s been leading his own bands, cut 13 albums (three for Alligator), has performed and recorded with venerated old masters like Pinetop Perkins (featured on this song), Snooky Pryor, Billy Boy Arnold and Nappy Brown, and won five Blues Music Awards.
