Ellen Britten comes from a Folk-Musical family. Her dad was a Pibroch (highly advanced) piper, her mom acted as agent for several substantial acts, her brother Tim is a champion Uilleann piper and she is a Nashville studio guitarist. Her teacher, Benji Aronoff, was himself one of Rev. Davis’s students, so you might say Ellen is one of Davis’s ‘grandstudents’. He was a school of music unto himself.
