This is not the fiddle tune, but a different two-part instrumental in the key of F / Dm, executed on a six string banjo identical to Davis’s own. F seems a formidable key for most Folk guitar players, but Rev. Davis favored it. FWIW, D minor is the relative minor of F major, so it doesn’t really change key, just mode.
