I love world beat music and have long listened to music from other countries. This lovely instrumental was inspired by a Brazilian Samba rhythm I’m particularly fond of. That beat has crept into several Geza X songs. This is also a showpiece for my multidimensional guitar effect, something that I invented with a ring modulator and several other effects. One writer noted that “Geza X is the only artist to tame a ring modulator and get actual MUSIC out of it!” Pony Ride was the theme song on a Playboy animation special in 1986.
