I used to do this as a routine when I played guitar in the band Deadbeats. We were a really theatrical band with costume changes and lots of fun vignettes between songs. The idea was to play the part of “Victim”, the most neurotic and abused kid imaginable. Ok, I guess its sort of autobiographical but the humorous part was to push the weirdness to the absolute extreme imaginable, until it stopped being pathetic and just got crazy. Don Bonebrake of the band X played drums on this. He had been experimenting with polyrhythms where he played 3/4 on the kick drum, 4/4 on the snare, and 5/4 on the hi-hat. That is not so easy to accomplish and kudos to him for performing it so well!! Kim Komet of the Silver Chalice added his “vibrating corpse” sound effect and this horror show of a song was complete. I played the other instruments so it was just the 3 of us on this song.
