Tom T. always loved to focus on universal truths, and not be too preachy when we wrote gospel songs, and I think this song has the perfect message for that..."Love Thy Neighbor". If there were ever two people who I think were/are great neighbors, it was the Halls. They opened their doors, and their home to many a wayward person, and musician, and the world is much better for it. Like Ernest Tubb used to say, "Be Better To Your Neighbors, and You'll Have Better Neighbors!"
