The Daughters of Bluegrass recorded this song as well. Miss Dixie worked hard, getting every tune recorded by an artist. The saying was; that we'd write it in the morning, demo in the afternoon, and she'd have it placed with an artist by dinner (which was many times true!). In our current unsettled times, I think it's more important than ever to focus on the good in the world, and for us to remember that we all have a light to shine!
