House Into A Home
Nestled in the mountains
painted blue by the sky,
Violet when the sun’s goin’ down,

We’re workin’ on a building
a castle in the clouds,
Against all odds here we are homeward bound.

Hurricanes may blow,
But you’re shelter from the storms
With the mountains climbing high,
and the fire burning low,
We’re just tryin’ to make this house into a home.

Just a lonely traveler
until I crossed your way,
In those Blue Ridge Mountains long ago,

We’ve weathered winds and wandered
far across the great divide,
Now I’m coming’ home.

Hurricanes may blow,
But you’re shelter from the storms
With the mountains climbing high,
and the fire burning low,
We’re just tryin’ to make this house into a home.

Hurricanes may blow,
But you’re shelter from the storms
With the mountains climbing high,
and the fire burning low,
We’re just tryin’ to make this house into a home.

We’re just tryin’ to make this house into a home.
We found a higher love and turned this house into a home
