Biography
ERIC VAN ARO, from Jazz to House, Music without boundaries!
In 2001 Eric van Aro released the album "from the heart", a collection of songs dating from the mid '20s to the end of the last century.
"Friends", the CD released in 2005, containing collaborations with an elite of Italian jazz musicians establishes Eric as one of the most interesting and accomplished singers in today’s jazz scene.
“Desert Motel” (2008) includes songs from Winwood, Stills, Manilow, Webb and Metheny for a sublime musical Americana experience.
In 2010 Eric changes style and releases JAZZ, LoveUmadly, The painting in my heart 2010 remix, UR and Evil Games (the tabloid song). These are just a few of the exciting songs from the Marco Soundee feat. Eric van Aro productions that had audiences dance this past years.
Meanwhile Eric released a version of the famous French ballad Le blues du businessman in its original language, which got a hard rocking arrangement, while Mel Torme’s The Christmas song received an exciting Latin Jazz treatment with the fabulous IGUAZU acoustic trio.
"I'm not anyone" a touching tribute to Sammy Davis Jr. will be released Sept. 2012 and will prove once again, that Eric van Aro is one of the most versatile singers today!
