Biography
Eddie Sea is a prolific songwriter/producer who grew up in the tough but elegant streets of Chicago comes from the real music era of the 70's. Many of his family members are musicians and his father was a DJ. Eddie started working as a DJ in the late 70's and started playing bass guitar and eventually started producing artists such as the rapper Swolts. For years Eddie “Sea” has been serenading the world with the Underground G-funk legendary rapper Swolts while producing 5 CDs. Eddie is a natural songwriter that has an enormous catalog of songs all ready to engage the world with different artists performing these songs. Now he’s ready to embrace the world with his series of compilation albums. The first of these albums is called Moon City, the second being “Velvet Lounge”. Both albums consists of 14 original songs written by Eddie Sea, each providing a combination of high-energy production, melodious vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Several singers and musicians perform these hypnotic, organic and beautiful works of art. Moon City reflects great stories combined with real life events that meld together with real singers and seasoned musicians. This album is a collection of songs from different genres which Eddie “Sea” has written and assembled with the help of some of the world’s great talents to sing and play on it. Recorded in his home studio Diamond Atmosphere, Moon City and “Velvet Lounge” has that home grown Chicago magic witnessed in the form of the great Chess records.

And that’s what I intend to do. This album is a reflection of my influences over the years and the changes that I’ve experienced recently in my life. Beautiful stories witnessed on “Images (acoustic piano song)” to the Soul Rock Controversial “ Hurricane” to Summer Anthems “It’s That feeling” and “So Alive” And the epic duet Sly Stone influenced,“Superstar” with bassist Aaron Mills from the funk group Cameo singing and playing.
