Could She Be
I was looking from the hill
I saw a fair maiden pass
I yelled down to her
She didn't give me a glance

Her hair was like a flower white
And her scarf was the color red
Her dress was long and black
Buttoned shoes went up her legs

I spoke out my name
And my people I declared
I told her of my gains
And my losses I did share

She did not speak
To give me reply
She turned to me
With hollowed eyes
