I can’t begin to tell you the number of artists who have recorded this song since Carl Belew co-wrote and recorded it.  I’ve always heard it done solo, and for the most part, with a slow tempo. I wanted to have a trio through the whole song and decided to speed up the tempo. I think you will enjoy the instruments playing harmony to each other. Lonely Street is pure in its simplicity of lyrics and has a melody that just stays with you.<br />
