Rounder
ROUNDER
written by Doug Moreland, ASCAP (composer/author and publisher)

If it suits you, it tickles me plum to death
I ain’t one to waste a breath
If you like it, I like it just fine
Just like I like the rest
Had me a woman, had me a roan
By both I have been thrown
One’s twice as big, one’s twice as pretty
But neither will leave me alone

I’m a rounder, coming around
I’m bucking horses, hitting the ground
And this old truck keeps breaking down
But I’m a rounder, coming ‘round

I see no one rides like that anymore
Am I losing my touch
Times have changed from what they were before
But I don’t think I’ve changed that much
I dream at night of a Tahitian woman
And a bar where the grass skirts sway
Maybe this spring, I’ll draw my pay
Load up my horse and sail away

I’m a rounder, coming around
I’m bucking horses, hitting the ground
And this old truck keeps breaking down
But I’m a rounder, coming ‘round

I’m a rounder, coming around
I’m bucking horses, hitting the ground
And this old truck keeps breaking down
But I’m a rounder, coming ‘round
