For my 79th Birthday, my family took me to Nashville for a couple of days. While there, we took in an afternoon show @ the Ryman. Along with the late Charlie Pride, Larry Gatlin & Don Schlitz performed. We sat in the balcony and the sound was terrfic! While listening to the music, feeling the history with all the performing spirit - this tune was born. Before we left the show, it was pretty much completed. I wanted it go be a two-step with a fiddle intro' with lots of Steel Guitar...and all the traditional country instumentation. Take a walk down memory lane with a positive story about The Ryman..where 'stained glass windows beckoned, and everyone would sing.'
