When this life comes to and end and we pass away,
Friends and family gather round and euligies are made.
Tears will flow, emotions roll, it's natural as can be,
But, in the room with all of you, two things you may see.

Guilt is a natural thing, but Greed can be there too,
Both of them may show up when this old life is through.
Guilt - for times we didn't spend the things we failed to do.
Greed - it speaks for itself, it's sad but it's true.

It's a cold hard fact of life when we've flown away.
How a funeral brings the best, the worst, to hear Amazing Grace.
While loved ones weep and wonder how, they'll get by day to day.
Some, they'll have their handout, because they're made that way.

But, Greed - with it's beady eyes, pours salt on your wounds.
It will rear it's ugly head people do what people do,
One of the Seven Sins will find it's way to you.
