The idea of playing hop jigs was inspired by a great session we had with Martin Hayes after the Sebastapol Festival
in California. This type of tune is uncommon in Irish music, but after Martin played some that night we decided to
track down a few and form them into a set.
The last reel was given to Tom and Liam by legendary Leitrim Fiddler, Ben Lennon. The lads spent a memorable
day playing tunes with Ben at the Bealtine Festival in Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim. They came away with this one
and the title for the set.
