If there’s one thing all of
Dervish have in common
it’s our love of the songs of
Sonny Condell from Co
Cork. Sonny plays in the
wonderful band, Scullion,
whose albums over the
years have inspired us all.
He also duets with another
singer/songwriter, Leo O’
Kelly, under the name Tír
na nOg. Both of these
groups have had a major
influence on the
Folk/Traditional scene in
Ireland down the years.
This is one of our favourite
Sonny songs.
