My Bachelor Ways

'My Bachelor Ways' has been described as "a fun song, with a Dr. John feel". It could have been done up country-swing style, but producer René Gely had the idea to add an Allan Toussaint-style New Orleans brass arrangement, using the finest horn players in our area. The jaw-dropping tuba virtuosity of Keith Hartshorn-Walton will amaze, and the jam on the outro will take you to Mardi Gras for most of a minute. If you enjoyed the Band's "The Last Waltz" arrangements, you'll probably like this.
