Too Old To Rock'n'Roll
TOO OLD TO ROCK’N’ROLL (TOM LARSEN)

Last night I went to bed, so tired I was almost dead
Then I had the strangest dream, I don’t know what it
means, but this is how it went

Too old to rock’n’roll, too old to rock’n’roll
Hey I’m halfway ‘round the bend, and I can’t get back
again, I’m too old to rock’n’roll

I quit stayin’ out late at night, then I started livin’ right
I left the beach and moved to town, got a job and settled
down
I was too old to rock’n’roll

I heard a riot goin’ on, two hundred women out on my
lawn
Well they said I let ‘em down, and they ran me out of
town, ‘cause I was too old to rock’n’roll

Just then I started screamin’, I woke up and I was only
dreamin’
Yeah and when I pass away, that’ll be the day
I’m too old to rock’n’roll
