Gracie was a Godly woman who took in my father-in-law from childhood and mothered him after his own mother had died. She was like a grandmother to my wife. My children and I were very close to her as well. During a financially difficult time in our lives in which we became homeless, Gracie took us in until we could afford to buy a home of our own. While living at Gracie’s home we had some of the best times ever, becoming closer than ever and making memories that last. I wrote “Gracie’s Home” both to honor and remember Gracie and to show the love Christ has for each of us who walk with him, who show love and grace to one another.
