Biography

DFL Recordings is a company that was developed for the purpose of producing great music. The People behind its success are highly skilled and very motivated to create the best and unique sound. Though the company was developed in 2000 Mike, Arron and Dawsun have been working writing and performing on their skills for many more years. DFL Recordings prides itself on its developmental style of production which allows us to cross over the lines of music jonras .
DFL Recordings has had the pleasure in working with many of the up and coming artist’s in the Tampa bay area. In Rap/Urban we have worked with John Wesley and Tango. In R&B we have worked with Demont and Eileen. In Latin and reggaeton we have worked with Milly P., Kasado, and Santiago. We are also writing songs for country music, and Pop, Techno and Dance. We love music we live and breathe it. This is the only thing that we ever wanted to do that’s why we can move from song to song and have fun doing it.
DFL Recordings also affords opportunities to unknown artists by providing them information on protecting themselves and their music. We give them ideas to better focus their careers. The guys know it is important to know the business side of music.
Arron Solano “Menace” ASCAP member
Arron Solano traveled the world as an Air Force Dependent. He was born in Yongsan Army Garrison Seoul South Korea. His love for music has been fueled through his travels throughout the world and the United States. A Graduate of Plant High School he continued his education as a student of the University of South Florida. He is an accomplished poet and lyricist. He has written and performed several songs, throughout the Tampa Bay area. Arron is the resident computer expert utilizing DFL Recordings systems to mix and master all of the tracks and songs.
Dawsun Gittens “Prime” ASCAP member
Prime was born in Brooklyn New York the heart of Rap. His love for music has been with him since he was old enough to follow his father into the Music Studios. At the age of seven he wrote and performed his first song for Black Heritage week. As a student of Penn State Prime organized his first record label, with a couple of his friends, but realized he needed to broaden his musical taste. So he packed up and moved to Tampa Florida to experience the hot sun, beautiful girls and the southern sound of Rap. Prime expertise is in writing lyrics and recording voice over. His extensive experience in recording and performing music makes prime an essential part of DFL Recordings.
Mike Butler “Mizzo” ASCAP member
Mike Butler was born in Tampa Florida and is the resident Musician of DFL Recordings. As a graduate of Robinson High school he persuade his love of music by attending Florida State majoring in music. His love for performance art and music brought him to DFL Recordings to join forces with Arron Solano AKA “Menace”. Mike has become well known in the Tampa Music scene. His music tracks and songs can be found on many of the Tampa Bays hottest artist’s albums. He is also an accomplished stage singer and performer. He’s hot ladies Hot.
