Blind Hawg
Well good looks never was his strong suit
A little over weight and face like a chewed boot
Every evening you’d see him around
Flirtin’ with the women all over town
Till one day he married a pretty young thing
I couldn’t believe it but it proved to me

Even a blind hawg finds an acorn every now and then
Runnin’ around with his nose to the ground
To see if he can find the scent
Of anything that just might suit his fancy
Or fill that empty space within
Even a blind hawg finds an acorn every now and then

I was dying to know how the wedding had gone
Between the ugly duckling and the beautiful swan
When I saw ‘em hand in hand one afternoon
I asked if they enjoyed their honeymoon
Well he winked as he gave me a toothless grin
It couldn’t have been better I’m a lucky man

Even a blind hawg finds an acorn every now and then
Runnin’ around with his nose to the ground
To see if he can find the scent
Of anything that just might suit his fancy
Or fill that empty space within
Even a blind hawg finds an acorn every now and then

It just goes to show you never can tell
When lady luck will be wishing you well
If you root long enough keep your nose to the grind
You’ll find what it was you were wantin’ to find
Keep your attitude right things will go your way
If you don’t believe it just wait a little

Even a blind hawg finds an acorn every now and then
Runnin’ around with his nose to the ground
To see if he can find the scent
Of anything that just might suit his fancy
Or fill that empty space within
Even a blind hawg finds an acorn every now and then
Even a blind hawg finds an acorn every now and then
