When I Get Home
When I Get Home

When I get home there won’t be unanswered questions.
For God has promised that all things would be known.
If I need to know the answer to a question,
I’ll just take my question to the throne.

And I’ll never see another set of crutches;
no wheel chairs or walkers will be there.
And there will be a tree of life everlasting,
inside the city of God that lies four square

When I get home there won’t be unanswered questions.
I’ll never see another eye filled with tears.
There’ll only be joy peace and contentment
and I’ll be with Jesus for the next one thousand years

And I’ll never see another set of crutches;
no wheel chairs or walkers will be there.
And there will be a tree of life everlasting,
inside the city of God that lies four square

I don’t know just I’ll do, when I get there.
But I’ve heard that there’s joy beyond compare.
And the heart of man just can’t imagine all the glory.
And all the glory will be ours to share.

And I’ll never see another set of crutches;
no wheel chairs or walkers will be there.
And there will be a tree of life everlasting,
inside the city of God that lies four square
