Something wonderful

Something wonderful has just happened,
And I love the way it makes me feel.
It’s so beautiful and I’m so happy.
Now I know that the love of god is real

I was walking down life’s pathway minding my own business
I was looking for love in all the wrong places.
While looking at the sky one day I saw the light.
The answer the lord Jesus Christ!

Something wonderful has just happened,
Jesus Christ has saved my soul
It’s so beautiful and I’m so happy.
Now I know at last I’m finally whole

I went to the church house and fell down on my knees

And I cried out to the lord; “save me won’t you please”.

Then the spirit of the lord came and made me whole.

And that’s how I found this perfect love
