Christmastime

I’m sittin round the fireplace, drinking Christmas cheer
Hoping all the kin folk can make it in this year
I cut a big soft needled pine and put it in the stand
There’s a train runnin round the track as fast as it can

It’s Christmas. Time. Yes, it’s Christmas time.
Celebrate the day that Christ was born
Time for everyone, every daughter, n every son
To get along and have a little fun…..it’s Christmas time

I see the snow is falling. It’s sticking on the hill.
Kids are sledding everywhere n sure do love the thrill
There’s a fire burning in the pit where we all gather round
Did I just hear a sleighbell? We’re listening for that sound
