Refrigerator Homemade Picture Show

I must have hung 100 pictures on that refrigerator door
If I’d had a bit more space I would’ve hung 100 more
There were drawings done in crayon
Landscapes in finger paint
Water colors soak the paper
Macaroni stuck with paste
My little girl’s Picasso and my little boy’s Van Gogh
From stickmen on the sidewalk
And some things I’ll never know
It’s my kids collection that I proudly own

Magnets from the car wash
holding up a masterpiece
People with no faces only ears and hands and feet
Pictures that I’d twist and turn some I’d spin around
I’m sure I got a couple wrong I hung 'em upside down
I don’t care about the mess or what it cost
When they stack 'em on the table these pictures warm my heart
My little girl’s Picasso and my little boy’s Van Gogh
