Those Tears
They're running down the pillow of a little boy in Memphis
The doctor said the cancer's back and he can't go home for Christmas
And they're staining a letter to the wife of a soldier
She's got a brand new baby girl but he'll never get to hold her

Those tears are falling from a heart that's broken
Those tears are calling with words unspoken
Does anybody care enough to say a prayer and lift them up
To reach out and love them through their fears
And wipe away those tears

There's an old man in a rest home, they're rolling down his cheeks
His body's all but given up, but his mind don't wanna leave

Those tears are falling from a heart that's broken
Those tears are calling with words unspoken
Does anybody care enough to say a prayer and lift them up
To reach out and love them through their fears
And wipe away those tears

There's no young or old no black or white
Those tears all look the same
No matter where on earth they fall
The message will never change

Those tears are falling from a heart that's broken
Those tears are calling with words unspoken
Does anybody care enough to say a prayer and lift them up
To reach out and love them through their fears
And wipe away those tears

And wipe away those tears
