Biography

CLING skilfully build songs that are deceptively light but in fact contain real depth and texture, the layers of cleverly programmed sounds successfully contrasting and complementing in equal measure. Warm, unusual and beguiling.

2006 saw CLING release the debut CD Sonic Spells which has been very well received by critics and audience alike. The music from Sonic Spells has been played on numerous radio shows and Podcasts and has also been used for cult Internet TV show The Scene.

In early 2007 CLING collaborated with ambient duo Stuart Elliot and Emil Anderberg from Dream Lab the result “Silver Skies” has been released on a the new Dream Lab CD “Cosmotherapy” on Cardamar Records. “Silver Skies” which reached No 5 on AudioJelly.com (Downtempo/Chillout Chart)

In March 2007 the single "Yours" was released as a digital download and due to the "crossover" appeal it has received excellent reviews in magazines as diverse as Urban Mainstream Magazine.

Last year CLING started performing live and have played at The Ambient Picnic Festival in July and will be playing the 10,000 capacity Rainbow Spirit Enlightenment Fayre in May 2008, further dates are being arranged
