Biography
With his rich bass/baritone voice Cleo White brings to the genre of Gospel music a unique style and sound. A sound and message that is sure to uplift the spirit and encourage the soul.
Cleo has been singing and performing Gospel music since the age of five. The Fort Worth, Texas native has been privileged to perform under the direction of noted artists such as Kirk Franklin, V. Michael McKay and Carnell Murrell.
At the age of eighteen, Cleo accepted his calling to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ through word as well as song. In his ministry lies the hope of leading people to the God who is, through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, helping them to grow in a deep love relationship with the author and finisher of life. To know Christ and make Him known is his life long goal and philosophy.
Although his primary musical genre is Gospel, his versatile talent lends itself to ballads, classical as well as rhythm and blues.
Cleo received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is married to music educator and pianist, Tracee G. White. Together, they have a son, Cleo White, Jr. They currently reside in Connecticut.
