So You'll Believe
The wind is in the cedars
and I’m a true believer
In trout kissed ponds and lonely evening stars
In ants that work as hard as horses
Moving with tremendous forces
And bats that hurl so unafraid thru space.

The winter storm that’s in your heart
Won’t blow us very far apart
Cause spring is always waiting up ahead
And if the snows they get too deep
To dig out from your long sad sleep
I will light a candle in your dark…So you’ll believe

In trees that shelter us with grace
And love that looks past our mistakes
And how that tortoise sometimes wins the race
And like the rings inside a tree
The years they circle you and me
As two old friends grow slowly towards the sun
