Rhythm of Love

Rhythm of Love
I co-wrote Rhythm of Love with Bernie Nelson while sitting at my kitchen table one morning. I must give credit to Bernie for bringing the idea for the song, but it immediately took me back to my youth - swinging on my swing set underneath my grandparent’s large Oak tree in their front yard. We took some creative liberties with details, like changing the tree to Sycamore, and the regular swing to tire swing, but the sentiment is still the same. My family, like all families, were/are far from perfect, but I know, deep down, they love me. And that love is really, at the end of the day, all that really ever matters. As the song says, ‘this ol’ world goes around and ‘round to the Rhythm of Love’.
