So what exactly is “The Chicken Neck?”

“The song is like ‘lean forward, then rock it back, rock to the left, then bring it back,’” said local hip-hop artist Maurel Nichols, who performs as Cat Daddy. “‘Drop it down, get your body set, move your shoulders and do the chicken neck.’”

“It’s more or less moving your body, arms and neck at the same time, with your neck going back and forward – the same way a chicken does it.”
