ON THIS CHRISTMAS DAY (Vaughn Rowsell)

I wrote this song about things I remember during Christmas when I was a kid growing up in a small outport town in Newfoundland, Canada. I recall our family friend Billy calling us from Ontario each year during Christmas. Though we never had a dog, our neighbour’s dog,Benji,spent most of his time in our house and enjoy spending time with us, especially during Christmas time.
