This Much is True

The Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world
And I know that whosoever meaneth me
I’ve read each promise in the book He reveals more truth each day
And through it all He supplies my every need

This much is true I’ve read it in His word
I’ve lived in my life in the truth He’s given me
I cannot turn back now He’s proven all to me
Full surrender is the least that I can do
He gave His life for me; I know this much is true

Sometimes it just takes simple faith sometimes a tender voice
Each prayer each moment spent with Him I find
That in His presence He reveals He lives inside of me
With each new day new mercies are mine

This much is true I’ve read it in His word
