He cried the wrath of the Lord is upon us because we’ve not hearkened instead
We’ve turned from God’s word each man doing what seemeth right in his own eyes
Surely we’ll suffer for the sins of our fathers til God’s wrath is satisfied

Blessed is the man who readeth and heareth the words of the Book still today
We see the state of the world is declining each man still set in his own way
So many refuse to open the Bible yet say that there’s no hope in sight
There’s still only one path that leads to salvation and one Book that teaches what’s right
