Byrd's new CD Maxi Single and video, "With Your Love" is now on sale.
Byrd Pressley was born in Pittsburgh, PA. He traveled around the world entertaining with The New Century Platters. Byrd later formed the
Byrd Pressley Band. In the mid-eighties he was managed by Cissy Houston and Toni Chambers for their Company, Personal Touch Management. He also was a special guest performer for the Miss Maryland Pageant. Byrd had several songs released in Europe that hit the UK charts.
He has worked with Saxophone Player, Kim Waters and Piano Great Cyrus Chestnut; both are well known song writers in the Jazz world.
In the late eighties, Byrd toured Europe before coming to Caesars Pocono Resorts.
In 1996, he was promoted to entertainment manager for Caesars and currently performs with the Byrd Pressley Band.
Gary and Greg Grainger, for the Grainger Brothers Productions,
produced "P.S. I Love You."
Margaret Harris, a NY based film director, is currently composing a documentary on Byrd. This film, which has been compiled over the last few years will be released in the near future. The film is about Byrd's life and how he got started in the music business.
Byrd manages to balance the entertainment business, equalize the performing duties for Caesar's Pocono Resorts; plus he continually works on new material for his singing career.
