Sounds like you're going to hell!
You can hop that streetcar
Everyone wants that streetcar
Hear that ringing streetcar
You know that tune
That's how people do it
Everybody wants to do it
Even dogs can do it
Cry your heart to the moon
But what's this doubt – next to the spark?
Maybe you should wait a little longer
Or maybe it's all just shadows in the dark -
Are you dead yet? No? You must be stronger!
I can see love got you
No, it really got you
Yeah, I know it got you
Really got you good
Now I've got to tell you
One more thing to tell you
I guess I can tell you
I hoped it would
Maybe they'll sing a song for you -
"Sorry I drove you away!"
Maybe they'll get up the nerve to tell you
The one thing they never would say
Well, I think I'll leave that
Yeah, I'm going to leave that
Think I ought to leave that
To your imagination
Next time you go out there
You could take your Shakespeare
If he's right, then you'll need music
