Biography
Since forming in 1999 at the Galax Old Fiddlers’ Convention, the Buck Mountain Band has become one of Southwest Virginia’s most popular old-time bands, playing regularly at the Applewood Music Park in Cana; the Floyd Country Store; the Fiddle, Banjo, and Dance Club of Dublin; and the Rex Theatre in Galax. The band’s members also serve as resident musicians at the Blue Ridge Music Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
